In 2011, he founded his own firm in Garden City, focusing exclusively on matrimonial and family law for clients in Long Island and Manhattan.

Appointed by the courts as a Referee in complex matrimonial cases, Mr. Tannenbaum played a pivotal role in the landmark case of Etzion v. Etzion, a precedent in New York’s electronic discovery realm.
